Procedures: Test on Handel. Grade and go over with students.

TUESDAY
Objective: The students should be able to understand the biographical background on the composer J.S. Bach.
PA Standards/Anchors: 9.1.8 A,B,C,D,E,F/ M8 A.1.1, R8 A.2.2
Procedures: Read and discuss Johann Sebastian Bach’s biographical report.
Assessment: Q&A, Discussion
WEDNESDAY
Objective: The students should be able to understand and appreciate the music of J.S. Bach.
PA Standards/Anchors: 9.1.8 A,B,C,D,E,F/ M8 A.1.1, R8 A.2.2
Procedures: Play listening examples of J.S. Bach. Explain his contributions to music history especially with the chorale. Also, work on Bach vocabulary words puzzle.
