W- Read and discuss J.S. Bach.
Th- Show the video "Meet the Musicians: Bach".
F- Listening and discussion of Bach's musical contributions.

Chorus:
M-F- Begin work on spring concert music. Work on parts.

Elementary band lessons:
M-F- Work on assigned materials in your lesson books. Practice every day!

Week of 12/21 to 12/23

Music 7:
M- Read and discuss G.F. Handel
T- Watch video "Handel's Last Chance"
W- Finish video and review

Chorus:
M-W- Work on music for the elementary show.

Elementary band lessons:
M-W- Work on assigned lesson materials. Practice every day!

Week of 12/14 to 12/18

Music 7:
M- Read and discuss the Baroque period report.
T- Video on the Baroque period.
W- Review all material for test.
Th- Test on the Baroque period.
F- Listening to music of the Baroque period. Discussion of composers contributions to music history.

Chorus:
M-F- Continue to work on Winter music for elementary shows and nursing homes. Congratulations on an excellent Winter concert! Anyone who is going caroling must have their permission forms into Mr. Shoener no later than Monday 12/14. Anyone interested in a choral workshop at Penn State Schuylkill should see Mr. Shoener for the proper paperwork as soon as possible.

T- Review for test on the Renaissance Period.
W- Test on the Renaissance Period.
Th- Read and discuss the Baroque Period report.
F- Listening to music of the Baroque period and discussion.

Chorus:
M-F- Warm-up, work on individual parts and group singing skills. Concert Weds. night at 7 p.m.!

Elementary lessons:
M-F- Practice assigned lesson materials and music for the concert. Practice every day!
