All Band members are reminded to practice daily. This includes lesson books and concert music. Please show up for your weekly lesson.
Beginner Red Band will not begin until sometime in October.
Advanced Blue Band will rehearse every Thursday starting promptly at 2:45 until 3:15.

Rhythm
Understand rhythms used in reggae and create a rhythm complex incorporating them.

Use the rhythm complex that is written in the book to accompany Give a Little Love

Then the students will get into groups of 3-4 and write their own rhythm complex. They will perform their complex for the class.

Week of 8/29 to 9/2

Elementary Band - Anyone 4th, 5th or 6th grader who is interested in returning to band or wishes to join the band should see Mr. Shoener in the Music Room 114 to get the proper paperwork. There will be an instrument rental meeting on Tues. 9/6 in the elementary cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. for anyone who needs to rent an instrument.

4,5,6 - Introductions, seating, rules and Instrument and Chorus demonstrations.
