Th- Read and discuss the Renaissance Period.
F- Listening and discussion of music of the Renaissance Period.

Chorus:
T through F- Work on warming up, individual and group singing, breath support, posture and diction.

Elementary Band Lessons:
T through F- Work on assigned lesson materials and concert music. Remember to practice every day!

Week of 11/23 to 11/25

Music 7:
M- Read and discuss the Pre-Renaissance 2 Report.
T- Video on Music of the Middle Ages.
W- Listening and discussion of music from the Pre- Renaissance period.

Chorus:
M through W- Work on warming up, individual and group singing skills, breath support, posture and diction.

Elementary Band Lessons:
M through W- Work on assigned lesson materials and concert music. Remember to practice every day!

Week of 11/16 to 11/20

Music 7:
M- Review for the test on the story of music.
T- Test on the story of music.
W- Read and discuss the Pre-Renaissance period report 1.
Th- Video on the origins of music.
F- Listening and discussion on Pre-Renaissance music, including early forms of harmony.

Chorus:
M-F- Warm-ups, work on individual and group singing. Practice Act. period on Mon. and Weds. Please attend all rehearsals and be prompt.

Elementary lessons:
M-F- Work on concert music parts as well as continue to work on assigned lesson book materials. Remember to practice every day!

M- General introductions and interests.
T- Read and discuss the story of music and it's origins.
W- Show a video on early sources of music.
Th- Finish video and discuss the facts from the video.
F- Listening and discussion of some of the earliest types of music.

Chorus:
M-F- Work on warming up. Work on individual and group skills.

Elementary band lessons:
M-F- Work on assigned lesson material as well as concert music. Remember to practice every day!
